By Lee Jung-un Kyung Hee University To foster better understanding between Korean university students and the United States, Thomas C. Hubbard, U.S. ambassador to the Republic of Korea, gave a special lecture at Kyung Hee University on June 3.

About 400 students attended the lecture titled "U.S. Foreign Policy and ROK-U.S. Relations," which addressed the current issue of North Korea and President Roh Moo-hyun's visit to the United States. He also spoke about reforms in the SOFA agreement and the continuation of talks to build confidence between the two countries.
