Kayveas suggests ACA check rich council officers.

DEPUTY Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk M. Kayveas was featured in Mingguan Malaysia and Berita Minggu where he spoke at length about inefficiency among some officers of local councils.

In Berita Minggu, he suggested that the Anti-Corruption Agency conduct a study on local council presidents and officers who led the lifestyles of the rich.

He said some of them owned expensive cars, lived in homes costing RM2 million to RM3 million, and went on sponsored overseas holidays.
