Researchers at the University of Tsukuba in Japan have created a unique interface that simulates the forces, sounds, and tastes associated with biting into food. The Food Simulator device generates resistance to virtual objects based on test data obtained from a special film-like sensor wrapped around real food as it was being chewed.
