KUALA LUMPUR, June 5 (Bernama) -- With the admission today of two major tin producers - PT Timah Tbk and PT Koba - into the Kuala Lumpur Tin Market (KLTM) membership, trading volume on the KLTM is expected to double in the next two months, its chairman Datuk Mohd Ajib Anuar said today.

The present average daily turnover of the KLTM is 50 tonnes.

PT Timah is the world's largest tin mining company which produces 40,000 tonnes of tin a year while PT Koba is the second largest tin mining company in Indonesia with a production of 18,000 tonnes per year.
