IT'S MORE than just a sharemarket -- and the New Zealand Stock Exchange has changed its name for the second time in five months to make sure everyone knows that.

The exchange has changed its title from NZSE Ltd, the name adopted when it demutualised late last year, to New Zealand Exchange Ltd.

The company will trade under the symbol NZX when it lists on its own exchange next week and will use the symbol as its new logo.

"We didn't feel like we wanted to be just a stock exchange: the debt market is quite important and we want to look at other products, so we didn't feel it was appropriate …
