Words these credit professionals have taken to heart. NACM, on behalf of the National Honors and Awards Committee, is proud to acknowledge the following individuals for their continuing dedication, contributions and enthusiasm to the field of business credit management and this Association.

National Credit Executive of the Year

Ronnie Archer, CCE, is the 2003 National Credit Executive of the Year. This honor goes to an individual who exemplifies a true professional in the field of credit management. Mr. Archer, Vice President/Controller for Dunn Enterprises, Inc. in Houston, TX, earned his CCE[R] designation in November 2000. He is a vigorous proponent and active member of NACM South Texas as well as NACM-National. He served as Chairman of NACM South Texas from 2000-2001, and is currently their second Vice President/Chairman. In 2001, he was named the Credit Executive of the Year by NACM South Texas. Mr. Archer is also a strong supporter of continuing education, serving as an instructor for NACM South Texas' Credit Administration Program (CAP) and a member of the national Professional Designation Program Promotion Committee. Additionally, he is a former member of the national Honors and Awards Committee and the Committee on Cooperation with Professional Associations. Mr. Archer is held in high esteem by his local Affiliated Associat ion and his peers for his positive demeanor and many contributions to the business credit community.

CCE Designation of Excellence

This year's CCE Designation of Excellence Award goes to Jeff O'Banion, CCE. Mr. O'Banion is President of Business Consultants Northwest in Portland, OR. He earned his CBA[SM] designation in July 1982, his CBF[SM] in June 1983, and his CCE[R] designation in February 1984. Mr. O'Banion is an active member with NACM-Oregon, Inc. and his local CFDD chapter, serving on numerous NACM national and local committees.
