JAPAN'S JTB LAUNCHES ONLINE TRAVEL CATALOG SERVICE.
TOKYO, June 2 Asia Pulse - JTB Corp. began a service Sunday that makes its travel catalog available to customers over the Internet.
The service, targeting broadband customers, sends an e-mail message with the equivalent of 20 pages of headings. JTB's servers, which contain about 800 catalog pages of domestic and overseas travel information, can be accessed through the headings. The online catalog also features an on-screen, page-turning effect, developed by Sumitomo Corp. (TSE:8053) group subsidiary AlphaBridge Corp.
