NEW DELHI, June 2 Asia Pulse - A travelling conference of Commercial Representatives (CRs) of India from the West Asia and North Africa (WANA) regions is to be held in India from June 3-7.
The event is expected to formulate market specific measures to boost exports to the countries in the region.
The conference allows effective interaction between the representatives and members of the business and trade community, which help to eliminate factors which hamper exports to countries in the WANA region.
Indian exports to countries in the WANA region recorded a 28.9% rise to $US6,724.14 million from April 2002 to February 2003, compared to $US5,216.65 million in the same period in the previous year.
