NEW DELHI, June 2 Asia Pulse - The Indian subsidiary of Czech carmaker SkodaAuto on Friday said it has acquired 3,00,000 square metres of land in Aurangabad to assemble completely knocked down kits of its luxury cars in the country.
The company at present sells the Octavia model by importing semi-knocked down kits.
It has started the process of upgrading existing facilities and developing the greenfield site, which it hopes to complete by the first quarter of 2004.
