Afghanistan central bank governor Anwar-ul-Haq Ahdi said his country was keen to benefit from Pakistan's expertise in rebuilding its banking and financial system.
"We would like to benefit from the experience of Pakistan, which has well developed financial institutions and we do need to train our bankers," Ahdi told a news conference in this port city on Saturday.
The head of the Reserve Bank of Afghanistan is currently on a visit to Pakistan for talks with senior government officials and authorities at the State Bank of Pakistan.
