Japan is considering beefing up inspections of all North Korean ships that visit its docks in order to check Pyongyang's suspected drug smuggling and missile parts trade.
Ministries and agencies will hold a meeting soon to discuss measures to monitor North Korean ships, the Yomiuri Shimbun daily reported Sunday, quoting government sources.
