At around 8:45 p.m. on April 22nd, a resident of Chicago, Illinois, stopped at a gas station to purchase a lottery ticket. When he returned to his van and climbed behind the wheel, a youth in the back seat pointed a gun at his head. According to the would-be victim, the teen, later identified as Blannie Hanes, said, "Start the car and get out or I'll kill you."
