CHARLOTTE COUNTY -- Sheriff Bill Clement has about a 1-in-100 shot this month of being chosen to urinate in a plastic cup.

Same goes for next month.

Beginning today, the Sheriff's Office will randomly drug test five employees every month, from the big boss on down the line.

A computer program will select the five, which equals about 1 percent of all sheriff's employees. Those eligible for testing include certified law enforcement and corrections deputies and some noncertified workers.
