NEW DELHI, May 31. - The BJP today asserted that it favoured construction of a grand Ram temple at the makeshift temple site in Ayodhya and also clarified that it wanted the mosque, in place of the disputed Babri structure, built outside the 5 km radius of the Ram temple.
After the confusion created by BJP president Mr M Venkaiah Naidu's statement on the mosque's construction by the side of the proposal Ram temple, the party chose the national executive of its minority morcha to send this message across.
The BJP has for the first time clarified that it was also in league with the Vishwa Hindu Parishad's stand of a no mosque within 5 km ...
