NEW DELHI, May 31. - The BJP today asserted that it favoured construction of a grand Ram temple at the makeshift temple site in Ayodhya and also clarified that it wanted the mosque, in place of the disputed Babri structure, built outside the 5 km radius of the Ram temple.
After the confusion created by BJP president Mr M Venkaiah Naidu's statement on the mosque's construction by the side of the proposal Ram temple, the party chose the national executive of its minority morcha to send this message across.
