Women who regularly drank decaffeinated coffee were significantly more likely

than other women to develop rheumatoid arthritis, according to a report at the annual meeting of the American College of Rheumatology.

In the Iowa Women's Health Study, 158 women developed confirmed rheumatoid arthritis (RA) over the course of a 15-year observational study. They were compared with 30,000 women without the diagnosis.
