Thierry Borja de Mozota, the French Ambassador to Brunei, launched Perfumes of Egypt, the Discovery trail exhibition yesterday. The exhibition was brought by Alliance Francaise, French Bruneian Business Association and the Embassy of France.

He said for more than two centuries, France invested efforts to unveil new faces of the Egyptian civilisation. Champollion, who deciphered the hieroglyphs, opened their eyes to a New World and his followers still work side by side with Egyptians to reveal new fields of knowledge on the past of Egypt.
