MapInfo Corporation (Nasdaq: MAPS) today announced the appointment of Wayne McDougall to Chief Financial Officer.
McDougall has been with MapInfo for six years, most recently serving as interim Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller, where he was responsible for all accounting and reporting functions worldwide. McDougall will be responsible for managing the global day-to-day financial operations of the company.
While at MapInfo, McDougall has played a key role in mergers and acquisitions, establishing credit facilities, managing banking relationships and supporting interactions with the investment community. McDougall also spearheaded the implementation of the company's internal audit function.
