Gene Logic Inc. (Nasdaq:GLGC) today announced that Dr. Anne M. Pilaro has joined its TherImmune Research Corporation subsidiary as Senior Director for Regulatory Affairs.
Dr. Pilaro will be responsible for advising TherImmune clients on regulatory policies of, and submissions to, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), including INDs, NDAs, and BLAs.
Dr. Pilaro was most recently the Expert Toxicologist for Cellular and Gene Therapies at the Office of Therapeutics Research and Review in the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER) at the FDA. During her 10 year FDA career, Dr. Pilaro gained recognition for her efforts in gene therapy and served on PLA/BLA committees reviewing and eventually approving market-leading products in multiple sclerosis, hepatitis and rheumatoid arthritis.
