GOVERNOR Niyi Adebayo of Ekiti State has dissociated himself from the election petition filed by his party challenging the PDP victory in the state gubernatorial polls saying that the acceptance of defeat by the five out-going Alliance for Democracy governors was their sacrifice for the survival of democracy in the country.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony of "Ekiti House" in Abuja at the weekend, Otunba Adebayo equally asserted that the legacy of his tenure will survive his years in office.

"I am quite surprised that my party did that, I personally have not done so. …
