Chorus wins first place
The Wilkinson Sound Machine Chorus recently won first place in the MUSIC USA Choral Invitational Festival in Orlando.
This is the third year Wilk-
inson Elementary has participated in the festival. The school previously won "Superior Ratings" for its performances in 2000 and 2002.
The chorus has performed throughout the area, including at Selby Gardens, the Sarasota County Fair and on ABC 40's "Sunrise Morning Show."
Selby internship program
The International Internship program at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens recently received a donation of $20,000 from the Selby Gardens Associates.
