Teesside gained revenge over East Riding in the representative team's first outing of the year in the Yorkshire Inter-District Union League which took place at Hunley Hall.
With the visitors fielding a team weakened by other commitments, Teesside were able to avenge their defeat in the corresponding fixture at Scarborough North Cliff last May.
Playing on a course which was new to the East Riding team, in strong winds and occasionally heavy rain, it was always likely to prove a stiff challenge, especially against a strong home side.
