SARASOTA -- Riverview rolled to a 21-0 win over Palmetto in Thursday night's spring football game at the Ram Bowl.
The Rams gained almost 300 yards on the ground against the Tigers, led by 114 yards on only six carries from Marcus Abner. Mike Ford got the majority of the workload for the Rams, finishing with 86 yards on 16 carries.
But even with all the depth at running back it was the Rams quarterback, Jason Evans, who scored the second and third touchdowns for Riverview, plunging in from a yard out and 4 yards out.
