The planned official visit to Sri Lanka by Thai Prime Minister Pol. Lt. Col Dr. Thaksin Shinawatra has to definitely be postponed due to poor weather. Despite the fact that no formal call will be made to Sri Lanka by the premier this time, cordial relations between the two countries in terms of religion, culture and traditions will serve as a strong foundation for fostering understanding and collaboration mutually between us.
