PRAGUE, May 14 (CTK) - Four hundred pupils of the Jan Harrach elementary school in Jilemnice, east Bohemia have "adopted" an 11-year-old Indian girl named Vaneshree, contributing their pocket money to pay for her education, the daily Lidove noviny writes today.
The long-distance adoption was arranged by the Archdiocesan Charity in Prague, which assists children in developing countries in completing their education.
