Taipei, May 14, 2003 (CENS)--The New Taiwan dollar ended slightly lower against its U.S. counterpart yesterday in line with a weak Japanese yen, dealers said. The N.T. dollar closed at NT$34.721, compared with NT$34.715 in the previous session. Total turnover at the Taipei Foreign Exchange Center amounted to US$436 million, up from Monday's US$238 million. The local unit fluctuated between NT$34.651 and NT$34.750 during the session
