I always thought Roger would be a success. I can't say I thought he'd win six Cy Young Awards, but he had this work ethic and determination you don't see often. Roger didn't own a car and he would pull on his book bag and run to and from school. It was about a mile. That's now called the "Clemens Mile," Kids run the "Clemens Mile" before they pitch. It has become a tradition.
