Wireless DSL router from SMC. (New Products: Communications).(Brief Article)
IRVINE, Calif. -- SMC Networks has introduced its new router for residential and SOHO use the SMC7404WBRA Barricade Wireless DSL Router.
It will be available through DSL service providers at an MSRP of US$199.
The Barricade Wireless DSL Router combines an SPI firewall, DMZ, content filtering, and more with the form factor and versatility demanded by residential and SOHO applications.
This router will be communications central for homes and offices, the company says, providing broadband access, wired and wireless networking, and a network print server, the company says.
Easy to set-up and maintain, the SMC7404WBRA combines a DSL modem with an IEEE 802.11b-compliant Wireless Access Point.
