IT IS RARE to find a treasure, even a small one, I being given away. It did, however, happen to me I at Fremantle not long ago when I visited the Army at Museum. With the display of the 2nd/2nd Independent Company's guerrilla campaign in Timor in 1942 was a little pile of books, The Independents, by Jim Smailes, and a notice, "Please Take One".
