HOBART, Oct 31 Asia Pulse - The Tasmanian government has announced an $A83 million ($US63.78 million) fiscal surplus for 2005/06, up $A88 million on the original budget forecast.
Treasurer Michael Aird said today the strong result was due to sound fiscal strategy and responsible economic management.
