CANBERRA, Oct 31 Asia Pulse - The federal government may need to compensate Medibank Private members for selling their assets in the fund, a new parliamentary report says.
The Parliamentary Library, which produces analysis and advice for MPs, today took the unusual step of issuing a second report on the upcoming sale of the privately-owned health insurer.
The new report comes after the government sought legal advice that dismissed the findings of the Library's earlier report.
