SEOUL, Nov 1 Asia Pulse - South Korea's POSCO Engineering and Construction Co. is aiming to win a US$10 billion contract to modernize Nigeria's railroad system, industry sources said Wednesday.
POSCO said it had a good chance to win the deal because the South Korean government is pushing for a comprehensive agreement to build up the African country's energy and transportation infrastructure. The two countries are expected to sign a memorandum of understanding next week for cooperation in oil field development, electricity power generation and railroad construction.
