ROKYCANY, West Bohemia, May 1 (CTK) - A convoy of 60 historic jeeps and lorries started from Rokycany today on a four-day commemorative drive around the west and south Bohemian towns which were liberated by the U.S. army in April and May 1945.
The Convoy of Remembrance 1945 event is the largest of its kind in the country. It is designed to remember people about all soldiers who were killed during World War Two and mainly about its end, Milan Dlouhy, the chairman of the Military Car Club Plzen which organises the run, told CTK.
