ORLANDO, Fla. -- ORLANDO, Fla., May 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Thirteen talented seniors from public and private high schools across the state each have been awarded a $1,000 scholarship as district winners of the Florida Association of Realtors(R) (FAR) 2002-2003 Scholarship/Essay Contest for High School Seniors.

Each student has won a $1,000 scholarship award to help with his or her college or technical school plans. Each of the winning essays from FAR's 13 districts across the state is now vying to win one of three $5,000 state-level FAR scholarships -- for a total of $28,000 in scholarship awards.
