Slovak current account gap down at Sk5.3bn at end-February.

BRATISLAVA, April 29 (CTK) - Slovak current account deficit reached Sk5.3 billion at end-February, which was a year-on-year improvement of Sk2.8 billion, according to the monetary survey the National Bank of Slovakia (NBS) made public on its website today.

The gap was favourably affected by the trade deficit which reached Sk4.1 billion for the first two months of 2003 on a year- on-year improvement of Sk8 billion.
