TOKYO, May 1 Asia Pulse - Kanro Co. (TSE:2216), a major candy maker, is introducing a traceability system that will keep track of production time down to the minute.
To date, the company has used a system that identifies products by the day of production only.
The new system, which will print production time in minute increments on packaging, will make it possible to more promptly and efficiently carry out a recall in the event that product quality issues should arise.
