NINTENDO TO OPEN TOKYO DEVELOPMENT SITE.
TOKYO, May 1 Asia Pulse - Nintendo Co. (TSE:7974) yesterday announced plans to open a new game software development site in Tokyo.
The new development center will be located at the company's Tokyo branch in Kanda, Tokyo, and is expected to be in operation in September.
The plan at present is to have 40-50 employees at the facility. Around 20 software developers will be recruited this fiscal year, and the rest will be transferred from the company's only existing development center in Kyoto.
