KARACHI, May 1 Asia Pulse - Cargolux, a major European air cargo carrier, has announced a further decrease in the fuel surcharge from Rs 9 per kilogram to Rs 6 (S$0.10) per kilogram with effect from May 5.
The general manager of Cargolux Pakistan, Jalal al Karimi, in a circular to all cargo agents, said the decision to reduce the fuel surcharge is in line with the recent favourable evolution of fuel costs and the resulting lowered pressure on its cost structure, allowing the airline to apply this reduction.
