MELBOURNE, May 1 Asia Pulse - The Daily Planet Ltd (ASX:DPL) is set to list today on the Australian Stock Exchange and has engaged the services of a Hollywood madam to aid publicity.
The Melbourne brothel is the first in Australia to become a listed company - and is doing so with the help of ex-Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss.
The one-woman tornado ripped into Melbourne yesterday with two things in mind - to flog her $A100 ($US62.50) book Pandering and help launch the bordello onto the Australian corporate stage.
Ms Fleiss is no shrinking violet and boasted today she was the most knowledgeable person on earth about sex.
She became famous for her high class Hollywood call girl business whose clients ranked among the rich and famous, before being brought down to earth with a three year prison term for money laundering, tax evasion, and attempted pandering - thus the name of her book.
Today Ms Fleiss sold 100 copies at a book signing before the store exhausted all supplies.
"I could have sold a thousand - I was upset that the store ran out of books," she said.
