TAIPEI, May 1 Asia Pulse - The Council of Labor Affairs (CLA) signed a letter of intent with the German Trade Office in Taipei Wednesday to introduce a new model of vocational training program from Germany.
Kuo Fong-yu, director-general of the CLA's Employment & Vocational Training Administration, and Axel Bartkus, director of the German Trade Office in Taipei, signed the document on behalf of their respective sides.
The program will offer academic as well as vocational training to graduates from high schools and vocational schools. After three years, they will get certificates from Germany, as well as junior college diplomas, if they can pass certification tests.
