ANTIOCH, Calif., April 30 PRNewswire-AsiaNet - NanoMuscle, a manufacturer of miniature motors, has hired two toy industry veterans and a technology sales veteran to fill out its Toy Business Unit executive team and strengthen the company's presence in the toy industry. The toy industry is a primary target for NanoMuscle's motors which are completely silent and 1/20th the size and 1/100th the weight of equivalent DC-based motors used in toys. The small size and silence of NanoMuscle motors allow toy designers to meet a growing demand for high-tech toys with realistic, lifelike movement.

Marilyn Wilson joins NanoMuscle's Toy Business Unit as vice president of business development. Prior to NanoMuscle, Wilson worked at Fisher Price for more than eight years in a number of business development and product marketing positions. At Fisher Price Wilson was a key player in corporate strategic planning and business opportunities and helped launch the Fisher Price camera, outdoor play equipment and the corporation's first e-commerce site and direct sales catalogue. Wilson's contributions at Fisher Price were critical in facilitating partnerships with companies such as Walmart and Microsoft.
Tom McClure joins the team as director of product marketing. McClure has more than 10 years experience in the toy industry. He most recently acted as a marketing and product development consultant for companies such as Sesame Workshop and PBS Home Video. Prior to that, he was a VP of marketing of electronic toys and games at Playmates Toys. Throughout his career, McClure has contributed to product development and marketing on a number of toy lines including the "Amazing Babies" interactive dolls, "Space Jam" action figures and accessories and the "Nano" brand of virtual pets.
Also joining the Toy Business Unit is Charlie Lemak as director of sales. Lemak has more than 25 years of sales and sales management experience in the technology industry.
