Senator or president?

U.S. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Mel Martinez, who is considered a potential contender for the U.S. Senate seat now held by Democrat Bob Graham, was gently chided when he misspoke before an

audience of his fellow Republicans in Sarasota recently.

Martinez talked about a televised interview he watched in which Graham, who intends to run for president, criticized President George W. Bush over the war in Iraq.

"President Graham was talking - I mean, Senator Graham," Martinez said, quickly correcting himself as the amused audience admonished him.
