Servicing People.(Option One Mortgage Corp. appoints Irvine-Faith Schwartz as senior vice president of alternative markets )

Irvine-Faith Schwartz has joined Option One Mortgage Corp., a subsidiary of H&R Block, as senior vice president of alternative markets.

In this newly created position, Ms. Schwartz will have responsibilities in the areas of new product development, secondary marketing, and industry and government relations. She is based in Washington, D.C.

Most recently, Ms. Schwartz was director of sales, national lending, for Freddie Mac. She joined Freddie in 1997 to help the organization enter the subprime segment of the mortgage market. She also managed its efforts to combat predatory lending.

Lake Forest-Provantedge Technologies announced the promotion of Larry Oberhaus to the position of vice president, sales and marketing.

Effective immediately, Mr. Oberhaus will have oversight of Provantedge Technologies' marketing as well as responsibilities for growing the sales organization.

Before joining Provantedge Technologies, Mr. Oberhaus worked at Interlinq where he helped approximately 150 companies automate with Mortgageware.
