HARRISBURG, Pa. -- Former Rite Aid chairman and chief executive officer Martin Grass has agreed to pay $1.45 million to settle a lawsuit in which shareholders alleged the company's financial books were falsified over a 30-month period, boosting the stock's value, the Associated Press reported.
