Myth: All heart disease is caused by cholesterol and/or high blood pressure.

Wrong: Almost half of all people who die from heart attacks don't have high blood cholesterol levels or high blood pressure.

EVERY year, 10,000 die unnecessarily from known causes of heart disease such as high homocysteine and insulin-resistance that were never checked for.

Every year in Northern Ireland over 3,000 people will die from a heart attack and I'm certain many of those deaths could be prevented.
