When the pain is greater than normal, it affects his swing. If Glans needs a day off, 1B Scott Spiezio will move to third, and Shawn Wooten, Brad Fullmer or Benji Gil will play first.... LHP Jarrod Washburn expects to have left shoulder pain all season after spraining it a month ago during a fall in fielding practice.
