As a reader of your mag for many moons can you tell me what "yin/yang" means in regards to audio; a reviewer stated that preamp A was "yin" to preamp B "yang." What would be the characteristics of each amp? Would one be a tad bright?

In Chinese philosophy, the terms "yin" and "yang" refer to the opposite principles one finds in nature.
