I listen with reverence to the talented students who advance to the National Competitions, superbly trained by fellow MTNA members. I realize they represent all of us in a way, who are endeavoring to take teaching to a high level. My admiration for these students, their parents and their wonderful teachers is immense, as is my appreciation for MTNA as a venue for promoting musical excellence.
