Abandoned cats need a new home.

A pair of cats are looking for a home after being abandoned and left to starve.

Tilly, 11, who is ginger, black and white, and black and grey-striped Tommy, seven, are being cared for at the RSPCA Woodside Animal Centre, in Scudamore Road, Leicester.

The two cats were rescued by animal welfare officers in Northampton 10 weeks ago and have been nursed back to health.

Lisa Webb, the centre's cattery supervisor, said: "We think the cats are mother and son and need to be homed together.
