Lenora Brown, NCTM, and Gaye England, of Salt Lake City, Utah, combined to win the New England Conservatory International Ensemble Competition, in Boston. The two-piano team was awarded a gold medal, a first place award certificate and a performance at Carnegie Hall.

Brown is an adjunct professor of music at the University of Utah. She has concertized throughout the Far East and the United States, performing with orchestras that include the Utah Symphony and the Salt Lake Symphony.
