In the July report "Mercury in Tuna: New Safety Concerns," we said that salmon can safely be eaten every day, based on its low mercury levels. If you want to eat salmon, choosing wild rather than farmed can minimize exposure to a number of other pollutants, such as polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs).
